Our History
Raleigh Capitol Ear, Nose, and Throat came into being in July 2012, with the merger of Raleigh ENT (founded in 1965 by Dr. Nat Sparrow) and Capitol ENT (founded by Drs. Craig Price and Michael Parker in 1983). These two premier practices combined in order to provide more expansive services and more convenient patient care. In 2025, the practice changed its name to Raleigh Capitol Ear, Nose, Throat & Allergy to reflect the growth of Allergy/Immunology services within the group.
Raleigh Capitol Ear, Nose, Throat & Allergy is independent private practice and is physician owned, not hospital or university owned or managed. This represents a significant advantage to our patients, as it allows us to select the finest and most cost-effective care for our patients.
